Mercedes Letitia Carrabba (Yaeger)
Profile
Through drawing, movement, language, and ritual, I follow traces of history—the way it clings to old buildings, moves through the body, and is in small, everyday things. As a coffee roaster, I learned to move backward—cup to roaster, roaster to farm, farm to soil. Every part of the process holds a story, shaped by place, labor, and time.
Whether I’m sketching a façade, roasting coffee, or storytelling, I follow the thread—curious about where it began, how it changed, and what it still carries.
